The Smash Bot[1] was a battlebot owned by Gus that appeared in "The Bot-Fighter".
Background
Gus used the Smash Bot in bot-fight competitions.
Appearance
The Smash Bot is a scorpion-like bot. It has a girder-like head with a sharp crest, a small gap forming a mouth, and two blue eyes. It has a total of four arms; the top pair equipped with pincers and the bottom pair equipped with hammers for a wider range of attack. It moves with tank treads. Its third hammer has two spikes and is located on its tail.
History
Gus and his bot defeated Trina and her bot with ease, although Trina claimed she was playing the long game.
Some days later, it's revealed that Trina hacked the robot (although no one knew this) and sent it out to rob ATMs. Hiro, Baymax and Honey Lemon then went out to stop it, and upon catching it, found out it was being controlled by someone else, believing it was Yama.
Hiro then saw that Gus had been framed for the crime and he was arrested, so Hiro and rest of Big Hero 6 went to search for evidence to capture Yama, although there was no proof for this. Instead, Hiro found out Trina (who he had fallen in love with) was the one behind it and tried convincing her to quit, but she refused and activated her bot, which fused with the other bots she had hacked, including the Smash Bot, and formed a larger machine that attacked Hiro and his friends. Hiro uses Megabot to disassemble the big robot and defeats it.
